About Us

History

MOMS Club of Oley Valley, PA was founded in May, 1996 as a sister chapter to the MOMS Club of New Hanover Township, PA. We've grown considerably from those early days and now have a wide variety of activities available. All of our programs are planned and run by our members, for our members!

Activities

All of our activities except for one monthly MOMS Night Out are held during the day, and children -- including nursing babies -- are always welcome! Visitors are invited to our monthly business meetings and may attend twice before deciding whether to join; all other activities are limited to members only.

What do we do? In addition to our monthly meetings, we enjoy a full calendar of playgroups, park days, outings to local attractions and more! Our MOMS Discussion Group offers moms a chance to enjoy some relaxed conversation on parenting issues while the children play, while MOMS Night Out is a chance to truly get away for a few hours.

Dues

Dues are just $20 per year and cover the costs of our monthly newsletter, programs, and a donation to the church where we hold our monthly meetings. We know that being at home is often a significant financial sacrifice, so if the dues would be a hardship for you and your family, please speak privately to one of our board members!

Philanthropy

As a non-profit organization, the MOMS Club of Oley Valley is actively involved in supporting local charities, in particular those who attempt to meet the needs of children. Some of our service projects over the the past year include collecting household goods, clothing and other items for Berks Women In Crisis, participation in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica, donation of toys to a local children's home, and supporting the MOMS Club Mother-to-Mother Fund!
